Mr. Suvir Singh brings over three decades of rich industry experience across operations, development, and supply chain management within the automotive, construction equipment, and heavy machinery sectors. As Director – Operations & Supply Chain at Convenient Machines Pvt. Ltd. (CMPL), he plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, manufacturing efficiency, and strategic sourcing to strengthen CMPL’s production and delivery capabilities.
He began his professional journey in 1994 as an Engineer Trainee with Eicher Tractors, building a solid technical foundation early in his career. Over the years, he has held key positions across leading global and Indian companies, including Honda Cars, Tatra Trucks, Terex Equipment, Manitou Equipment, and Komatsu Mining. His cross-functional experience spans manufacturing operations, product development, purchase, and supply chain — giving him a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end industrial processes.
Known for his hands-on leadership and process-driven approach, Mr. Singh continues to advance CMPL’s commitment to quality, performance, and customer satisfaction through operational excellence and global best practices.
Mr. Sunil Tara is a highly respected industry veteran with over three decades of leadership in global sales, market expansion, and business development within the heavy equipment sector. As Global Sales Director at Convenient Machines Pvt. Ltd. (CMPL), he leads the company’s international growth strategy — strengthening its footprint across construction, logistics, and material handling industries.
Renowned for his ability to build lasting global partnerships and deliver measurable business outcomes, Mr. Tara has been instrumental in positioning CMPL as a trusted international brand known for performance, reliability, and innovation.
His distinguished career spans leadership roles at leading multinational corporations, including over two decades as General Manager at Manitou Equipment India, where he supported Rest of the World (ROW) business and oversaw operations across SAARC countries, North Zone, and East Zone. He also served as Head of Sales & Administration at Terex Equipment, managing ROW business operations, following nine formative years at JCB India Ltd.

Mr. Vijay Sharma is a revered veteran and foundational figure whose four decades of dedicated service have profoundly shaped the Indian Construction Equipment (CE) industry. As Managing Director of Convenient Machines Pvt. Ltd. (CMPL), he leads the company’s business operations with a global vision and a deep commitment to engineering excellence.
During his tenure as Executive Director and Head of JCB India, he pioneered the introduction of the Backhoe Loader in India and played a key role in the creation of the iconic 3DX model. He is the only Indian executive to have worked directly with the legendary Mr. J.C. Bamford in the UK, contributing to the development of globally recognized products such as tracked excavators.
Mr. Sharma has also led greenfield projects and business expansions for international giants — as Business Head for Terex Corporation (USA) and as Executive Director for Manitou Group (France) — establishing their Indian operations and dealer networks.
